MTSS: PBIS SCHOOL

Middle School

Disciplinary MS Dashboard (Dec 8 - Dec 12)

Middle school continues to exhibit strong adherence to school-appropriate behaviors. Our primary focus areas moving forward are ensuring that all students are accompanied by staff when leaving class and reinforcing the expectation to knock on office doors instead of kicking them. Nevertheless, the conduct is worthy of celebration.

High School

Disciplinary HS Dashboard (Dec 8 - Dec 12)

For our high school, several students with learning challenges continue to struggle with using appropriate language and managing their expectations. While there have been no major disciplinary violations, students would benefit from continued refreshers on “Respect” and “Responsibility.” This aligns with our MTSS goal of explicitly teaching expected behaviors through targeted mini-lessons. Additionally, one student continues to experience difficulty with appropriate language and functional communication more than the others. Although this student has shown measurable growth, ongoing challenges still result in routine disruptions to the learning environment. In response, the team has developed an enhanced support plan to strengthen communication skills and to improve productivity. It is noteworthy to mention that other students are not reacting negatively to our struggling student… avoiding escalation.
