Vision and Mission

Our mission

Our students will learn in a positive, personalized setting that promotes academic, social, emotional and personal success.

Our Vision

To re-engage and restore student academic, social emotional, and behavioral skills for success by providing appropriate, equity based, relevant and rigorous support services by culturally responsive staff.

Success

Welcome to Santa Clara Community Day Middle and High School!  We hope that our students' time with us will be a turning point in their academic career and that we will be able to help them learn to make good decisions in school and in life.  As we focus on unlocking the infinite potential in every child, our restorative approach embraces alternative methods to meet students individual learning styles and needs.

SCCDS is committed to fostering a diverse range of learning experiences; this taps into the potential of students who have struggled in traditional settings.  The staff utilizes project-based learning, experiential education, personalized curricula to support student achievement and to increase student capacity to  learn new skills and habits, and to move on to succeed in their next school setting.  We realize that our students have individual strengths, needs and goals, and our small school community is designed to help each student individually as they demonstrate future-readiness in their academic, social, and vocational pursuits.
